All these mountain activities complement the wide range of nature and cultural heritage offered by the Valley of Boí.

The Boí Taüll mountain station, operated by Ferrocarrils de la Generalitat de Catalunya (FGC), has officially kicked off the summer season today with the launch of the new 200-meter zip line. The station in Alta Ribagorça, which will remain open until August 31st, is consolidating itself as the ideal tourist destination to enjoy the high mountains with discoveries and experiences for all ages.
The new zip line is located at the base of the station. It spans 200 meters and features a double carriage for simultaneous descents. This marks the first phase that will complement the 1,000-meter super zip line planned for the station, which is expected to open in the summer of 2026. The first section starts at an altitude of 2,053 meters and reaches 2,036 meters, with a drop of 17 meters. It has four platforms: two for departure and two for arrival, and is designed to accommodate individuals weighing between 35 and 100 kg. It is a family-friendly zip line.
This season, the zip line will be combined with the other planned activities. For the first time, Boí Taüll will open a lift for walking during the summer, the Telecabina Vaques, which will be operational from the second half of July until the end of the season. This lift will provide access to a new viewpoint located at the summit of Pic de la Pala de Ginebrell, at 2,310 meters, from where visitors can enjoy panoramic views of the surroundings and peaks such as Besiberris or Punta Alta de Comalesbienes, which rise over 3,000 meters in altitude, or Aneto, the highest peak in the Pyrenees.
Additionally, the station will offer unique experiences to connect with nature and astronomy. Guests can enjoy astronomical observation sessions, one with the Aigüestortes National Park and Estany de Sant Maurici on August 1st, and another with the Montsec Astronomical Park on August 16th. Furthermore, on August 13th, there will be a guided hiking excursion through the National Park with an ascent to the Pic de la Pala de Ginebrell in Cap de Vaques.
Adventure, nature and gastronomy
Boí Taüll offers an electric motocross circuit for children, designed for kids aged 3 to 10. Electric bike rentals will also be available for both self-guided and guided routes suitable for all levels. The Mirador Starlight, located on the walkway leading to the station from parking lot P2, will provide a prime spot for stargazing. The offer is further complemented by six marked hiking trails within the station's domain and a virtual scavenger hunt designed to teach about the environment, culture, and heritage of the Vall de Boí.
As for the gastronomic offerings, the Eco-Burger Terrassa Cow Boí will open for the summer season, providing an ideal space to enjoy a pleasant break with panoramic views. It will become a meeting point for relaxation, offering drinks and snacks in a unique mountain setting.
All these activities complement the offerings of the Vall de Boí, a region known for its rich blend of culture, heritage, and nature.
