Since 1995, Nandu Jubany and Anna Orte have transformed this farmhouse in Calldetenes, near Vic, into a benchmark of Catalan cuisine.
Their project was born with the aim of blending traditional cooking with modernity, using locally sourced, seasonal ingredients—many of them from their own garden or the nearby forest.
Can Jubany proudly holds a Michelin star, an award that recognizes its “high-level cuisine” and the perfect balance between roots and culinary creativity. Critics highlight the harmony of its dishes. Plates such as truffle cannelloni, sea cucumber rice, or suckling pig with garden vegetables are considered “a superb demonstration of haute cuisine.”
