Catalan gastronomy adds new stars in the Michelin Spain & Portugal 2020 guide

The Angle restaurant in Barcelona, from the popular chef Jordi Cruz, has won a second Michelin star. The guide highlights Angle's constant commitment to haute cuisine for everyday consumption.

Have lost the star they had: La Barra de Carles Abellán, from Barcelona, which recently moved to the Hotel Vela in Barcelona. Els Brancs, from Roses, and Terra, from S'Agaró.

The new Catalan Big Gourmand
Big Gourmand is the Michelin category with which inspectors recognize restaurants that make good food, without reaching the star, at a moderate price. The new Big Gourmand restaurants are Cruix and Saó, from Barcelona, Pocavergonya, from Girona, and el Quatre Vents 3.0, from Hostalric.
